Kent Roosevelt High School’s business marketing classes on Friday hosted the Take the Plunge annual charity event at The Lake House in Twin Lakes.

Proceeds benefitted the Don Beckett Memorial Scholarship Fund. Beckett, a Kent firefighter, was active in the community and had children in the Kent schools. He started the scholarship and after his death from throat cancer in 2011, Take the Plunge started to raise money for the fund.
